If you go for a sustainable lifestyle, then of course you apply this in all your daily choices, uses and purchases. We at Cayucos know better than anyone that this is difficult, especially for eco footwear. There is little transparency about the production method, where they are made and of which materials. Therefore go for eco friendly sneakers from Cayucos! We have deliberately chosen to base our entire collection of eco shoes for men and eco shoes for women on ecological materials and use an environmentally conscious production method.
The production method of eco footwear
All Cayucos eco shoes are made in Spain in a factory run by a family. In addition to family members, there are of course other staff members and they all have a private bar at the factory where they chat after work every afternoon.
Use of eco friendly sneakers
Often shoes are made from leather or PU. Even if they are made of cotton, this does not mean that they are environmentally responsible. Our eco friendly shoes are made from sustainable materials. The cotton is washed in enzymes, the soles are made of natural rubber and we do not use glue. In addition, the shoe boxes are made from recycled cardboard. A true sustainable sneaker!
The price of eco footwear
Often eco friendly sneakers are much more expensive than a less sustainable version. The extra costs are usually not in the materials used, but in the fact that with many eco friendly shoes the word “eco” is used as a marketing strategy and the price is therefore automatically increased. We say no to that too! Our materials are sustainable, but have a fair selling price. Our eco footwear is for everyone!
